Four talented young people from rural schools in Medellín and El Carmen de Viboral are making history: Manuela, Jerónimo, Salomé and Shalin, members of the Marina Orth Foundation's Elite Robotics Team, After winning the national competitions, they qualified to compete in the International Youth Robotics Competition (IYRC) 2025, one of the world's most prestigious tournaments in educational robotics, which will be held at South Korea in the month of August.
An inspiring achievement
These students, who come from rural areas of Antioquia, have demonstrated that talent and dedication know no barriers. After hours of training, creativity, perseverance and competition with the most outstanding teams in the country, they managed to overcome technical and academic challenges to earn a place among the best in the world in educational robotics.
The road to South Korea: They need your support!
