Breaking Barriers with English: An Essential Skill to Stand Out.

Every year, thousands of hearts are filled with confidence and hope, observing a world full of opportunities by learning to think, speak and listen in English.

Cultivating a Passion for English From an Early Age

We plant the seed of knowledge in the hearts of girls, boys, and young adults who lack opportunities to learn English, allowing them to go from not uttering a single word to being able to express themselves with confidence and fluency.

Expanding my Vocabulary and Mastering English with Confidence

From the moment we step into the classroom, we are transported to a different universe. In class, teacher Maya speaks to us in English all the time, reads us stories from our region, teaches us about the culture of different countries, and helps us prepare presentations on topics we like, so that each time we feel less afraid to speak in English.

We Transform Lives in Rural Areas

We reach girls, boys, and young adults in rural areas where physical access is difficult, educational offerings are limited, and opportunities to learn another language, such as English, are nonexistent.

Opening Doors to Success: The Influences of English on the Lives of Rural Girls, Boys and Young Adults

English will not only allow them to speak fluently, but also access better jobs, salaries, and international scholarship opportunities.

Improving My English and Opening My World with Online English Mentoring

“Every week, I look forward to connecting with my tutor from the United States. These sessions have been crucial to enriching my vocabulary, perfecting my fluency in conversations, and discovering a world full of diversity and friendship. The opportunity to meet people from other cultures and share our experiences has been the best way to improve my English.”

From Learning English to Success: Stories of Improvement (Alan Arias)

“I am a graduate of Camino de Paz School, located in Llanaditas, Medellin. I was fortunate to have access to the English classes provided by the Foundation. This education was a turning point in my life, since it motivated me and made me understand the importance of mastering the language. Thanks to the Marina Orth Foundation English Scholarship, I am bilingual and can communicate fluently with people from all over the world. This has been fundamental to the success of my business, where I offer tours to Cerro Pan de Azucar, one of the biggest tourist attractions in my city.”
