Breaking barriers with English: an essential skill to stand out

Cultivating a passion for English from an early age
We plant the seed of knowledge in the hearts of children and youth who lack opportunities to learn English, enabling them to go from not uttering a word to the ability to express themselves with confidence and verbal fluency.
Expanding my vocabulary and mastering English with confidence
From the moment we enter the classroom, we are transported to a different universe. In class, Prof. Maya speaks to us in English all the time, reads us stories from our region, we learn about the culture of different countries, and we prepare presentations on a topic we like,to make us less and less afraid to speak English.

We Transform Lives in Rural Areas
We reach children and young people in rural areas, where physical access is difficult, the educational offer is basic and the opportunities to learn another language such as English are nonexistent.

Opening Doors to Success: The Impact of English on the Lives of Rural Youth
English will not only allow them to speak fluently, but also access better jobs, salaries, and international scholarship opportunities.
Improving My English and Opening My World with Online English Mentoring
Each week, I look forward to my connection with my U.S. tutor. These sessions have been crucial in enriching my vocabulary, perfecting my conversational fluency, and discovering a world full of diversity and friendship. The opportunity to meet people from other cultures and share our experiences has been the best way to improve my English.

From learning English to success: stories of overcoming challenges
“I am a graduate of Camino de Paz School, located in Llanaditas, Medellin. I was fortunate to have access to the English classes provided by the Foundation. This education was a turning point in my life, since it motivated me and made me understand the importance of mastering the language. Thanks to the Marina Orth Foundation English Scholarship, I am bilingual and can communicate fluently with people from all over the world. This has been fundamental to the success of my business, where I offer tours to Cerro Pan de Azucar, one of the biggest tourist attractions in my city.”
