From robotics and English clubs to college: How the Marina Orth Foundation set me on my path to engineering.

I have always aspired to become an engineer and thanks to the Marina Orth Foundation, I am currently studying Systems Engineering at Universidad EAFIT with a scholarship from Sapiencia, which I obtained with information provided by the Foundation. The Foundation has been fundamental since I first joined the English and Robotics Clubs, becoming my essential guide and providing me with invaluable support. This scholarship goes beyond financial aid, representing a comprehensive process that began with vocational orientation during my school years. The Marina Orth Foundation has been my refuge during university challenges, offering me solid support that transcends economics. At every step, I find constant and encouraging support from this foundation on my path toward my dream as an engineer.”

Bilingual at 16: My path of achievement with the Marina Orth Foundation

I began my life project with the invaluable support of the Marina Orth Foundation. I was 16 years old, I am already bilingual thanks to the generous scholarship I received to learn English, a recognition obtained outstanding performance in their spelling bee competitions. My active participation in Robotics and Monitores Clubs allowed me to discover and develop my skills, which led me to obtain a Google certification as a data and information technology analyst. In addition, I have the privilege of supporting the Founation’s English language volunteers by teaching the little ones.”

From I.E. Marina Orth to teaching in the best private schools in my city: my journey began with the scholarship from the Foundation. I studied Foreign Languages at the Universidad Católica Luis Amigó, and today I am grateful for every step. The scholarship not only financed my education, but also built my life project.
