We are present at the International Congress for Social-Emotional Education 2025

Marina Orth Foundation is proud to announce the participation of Sindy Patiño García, our Socioemotional Skills Coordinator, as a speaker at the International Congress for Socioemotional Education (CIPESE), which will be held on May 7 and 8 in Villavicencio, Meta, organized by the Fundación Crear Soluciones con Las Manos.

In her speech, Sindy will present the results of the Socioemotional Skills program implemented in rural educational institutions in Antioquia, highlighting its impact on strengthening the well-being and emotional development of primary school children. The presentation focuses on Bar-On's Emotional Intelligence model and UNESCO's contributions, applied through an experiential methodology based on playfulness, active learning and the use of the Socioemotional Skills Kit FMO, a pedagogical tool designed by the Foundation to facilitate the appropriation of these skills in the classroom.

The Foundation's participation in this international event reaffirms our commitment to a comprehensive education that promotes emotional well-being as a basis for the development of sustainable life projects, especially in vulnerable contexts.
